Slabdle

About Slabdle

Slabdle is a free daily guessing game for Pokémon TCG fans. Every day there's one hidden card, the same for everyone, and you have 10 guesses to name the exact printing.

How it works

The hidden card comes from 7,794 English cards printed from 1999 to today. Each guess is graded on 8 traits (species, type, generation, stage, HP, rarity, year and set), so you can reason your way to the answer even if you don't know every card. Up to 2 clues help when you're stuck, and a solve earns your slab a grade from 10 down to 1. Reprints count as different cards, which is where collectors shine.

A new card arrives at midnight in your time zone. Answers appear on the past answers page once a day is over everywhere, so nobody gets spoiled.

Who makes it

Slabdle is an independent project made and run by Mist and Myth LLC, a small company based in New Jersey, USA. It's built by card collectors for card collectors.

Where the card data comes from

Card details come from the open-source Pokémon TCG API project, and market prices and backup images from the open-source TCGdex project. Card images are shown from those projects' image services; Slabdle doesn't store or sell them.

How it's paid for

Slabdle is free to play with no ads. The TCGplayer and eBay buttons shown after you finish are affiliate links, which may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you, and there's an optional tip jar. See the affiliate disclosure.
